The data controller for curamenti.com, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR), is the publisher of the site:

2. What happens when you read the site
Nothing that identifies you is collected by the pages themselves. There are no cookies, no user accounts, no forms, no analytics scripts, no advertising or tracking tags and no social-media widgets.
Like every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard access logs: the IP address of the request, the date and time, the page or file requested, the response status, and the browser’s user-agent and referring page. The logs are used to keep the site running and secure and to diagnose faults. The legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in operating a safe and working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are not combined with any other data and are kept only for a limited period before being deleted or overwritten.
3. If you send an email
The site has no contact form and stores no messages on its own server. If you write to [email protected], your message, your email address and anything else you include are received and stored by the publisher’s email provider, acting as a processor on the publisher’s behalf. They are used only to read and answer your message. The legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in answering correspondence that you have chosen to send (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Correspondence is deleted once it has been dealt with and no longer needs to be kept, and in any case within twelve months, unless the law requires it to be kept longer. You may ask for yours to be deleted sooner.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies of any kind.
- Local storage. Two items may be saved in your own browser’s local storage: your best results in the Match the Hatch game (key
cur.hatch.best), and a marker that you have dismissed the storage notice (keycur.notice). Both stay on your device, are never transmitted to the site or to anyone else, and are needed only to provide those two functions. - Removing them. The “Forget my results” button beside the game deletes the results. Clearing site data in your browser removes both items.
5. Fonts loaded from Google
The typefaces used on this site (Cormorant Garamond, Cormorant SC and Karla) are loaded from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files directly from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address and the technical details your browser normally sends, and may process them outside the European Economic Area under its own safeguards. No cookie is set by this site for the purpose. The fonts are used so that the pages display consistently (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you block these requests in your browser, the site remains fully readable in your device’s own fonts. Google’s own privacy policy explains how it handles such requests.
6. Who receives data
Personal data are not sold, rented or traded. They are disclosed only to the service providers needed to run the site, each within its own role: the hosting provider (server logs), the email provider (messages you send) and Google (font requests, as described above); and to public authorities where the law requires it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask for access to the personal data held about you, to have them corrected or erased, to have their processing restricted, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive data you provided in a portable form where that right applies. To use any of these rights, write to [email protected] or to the postal address above. A reply will be given within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it); you may equally complain to the authority of the EU member state where you live or work.
8. Children
The site is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. It offers no accounts and asks for no information.
9. Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles data changes, for example if analytics or advertising were ever introduced, this policy and the storage notice will be updated before the change takes effect, and consent will be asked for wherever the law requires it. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
